The next round of X-Wing Miniatures expansions have been released (July 2017), and pretty much as soon as I got them I had to magnetize them. These Wave XI ships were pretty easy and straightforward to magnetize, so there’s nothing crazy to note about any of these ships.
I did have an issue with my drill where the battery was no longer holding a charge, so I started turning the drill bits by hand instead of with the drill. This actually worked out much better than using the drill since I had a lot more control. It didn’t take very long to drill out the holes in each ship doing this either.
TIE Aggressor
The Aggressor is basically the TIE Advanced, so I didn’t do anything different with this ship.
Scurrg H-6 Bomber
The Scurrg Bomber is a somewhat large, flat ship which made it pretty easy to hold and drill out a hole. The ship is hollow inside so you don’t want to drill the hole too wide or else the magnet won’t have anything to stick to when you glue it in.
Auzituck Anti-Slaver / Wookie Gunship
The Auzituck Gunship reminds me of the Mist Hunter but not as big or heavy.
